GDI+ in PocketPC

In response to my earlier post about the limitations of the PocketPC API, one of the developers of the PocketPC emailed me that the new Compact Framework for Whidbey is very much improved over the original version and believes that these improvements will drive many more developers for that platforms. I discovered a page in MSDN that details some of the new enhancements in the Compact Framework.

MSDN just released an article about a royalty-free open-source library for developing GDI+ on the PocketPC from XCrossOne. The lack of GDI+ has been my biggest complaint in the earlier framework and and the new open source option increases the likelihood that I may port a subset of my product to the PDA.
